red-letter day

in spite all those unfavored things that happened to me. there's one thing that turn my day into a good && happy one! it's my friend's birthday, vibien! she's lucky, not because i post his ugly name in my blog, but because w/ all other people i can be w/ i choose her to be my friend - what a privilege for her.. (hhac:)

concerning about birthdays, i will share what "red-letter day" means base from my recent learning.

- it is wrong to use this idiomatic expression for BiRTHDAYS only-that many of us thought- from our english teacher ( that 4 me is the best 1!) it is also use for any special events, NOT JUST BIRTHDAYS!!!

what a bad day aug. 24 2009 was!!i have been scolded for being too careless && insensitive of how useful "blogging"could be. i did not value the things as it should be.
it was as if i forgot what i've learned in NETIQUETTE.
